Through his current role, Amit led the Human Resources function during the turbulent Maggi crisis. During this time he led key engagements that included liaising with blue collar unions and ensuring industrial peace, designing unique communication platforms to continuously build employee morale during crisis, launching of a pan India cultural intervention 'Rise2Gether' to re-energize and re-invent the ways of working to create a Fast. Focused. Flexible organization.

He is keenly driving some of the best-in-class benefit reviews for the organization, working to broaden the scope of diversity to initiate inclusion of differently abled as part of the workforce and bringing in renewed focus on employee engagement. He has driven specific innovations in area of learning & development resulting in Nestle India winning the 'Golden Peacock National Training Award', 2017. Prior to his current role, Amit headed the Global HR Excellence Intervention, Nestle Continuous Excellence, at the Nestle Corporate Head Quarters, Switzerland. He has also led the roles of HR Manager for Sales & Nutrition business for the markets in the North & East of India and later as the Corporate HR Manager for Nestle India Sales & Nutrition business.
Amit is a year 2000 graduate from SIBM - Pune and began his career with Shaw Wallace & Company in the same year in Employee Relations and Training & Development.
