Experiential Learning

Gig Workers

The gig workers are becoming a very significant part of the global economy. Yet when we think of the gig economy, we think of the Uber and Ola drivers or the last mile delivery staff of Swiggy and Zomato. India is one of the biggest markets for white-collar gig workers barely trailing China. 8% of the workforce uses gigs as their prime source of income. Another while a whopping 31% use gigs to supplement their income according to research by BCG.

This Masterclass will focus on White Collar gig workers; the areas where there are increasing opportunities; the "ABC" of Gig Work and the opportunities and challenges of being a gig worker. The biggest question to explore is

"How to be a gig worker even if you are employed"

Storytelling for Leaders

We know that stories are engaging - we tell them informally and people listen, they 'get' what we are saying and they remember it. Yet few leaders systematically harness the natural power of story in the workplace.
The Storytelling for Leaders masterclass will introduce leaders to the use of story techniques that can help them dramatically improve their ability to connect, engage and inspire.

Storytelling for Leaders

OVERVIEW:

Stories are incredibly powerful. They can help business leaders quickly build rapport, inspire people to change and influence without relying on authority.

The good news is that each and every human being is a great storyteller but as soon as we enter a conference room we become staid, boring and easily forgettable.

This two hour hands-on workshop is designed to help senior leaders with tools and techniques that can start their business storytelling journey.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

Building on the masterclass on Day 1, this workshop, using use cases and exercises, will provide the skills to use story-based techniques to tackle a range of communication issues :

# How to get your message to stick
# How to quickly build rapport and connection
# How to communicate strategy, changes and decisions by     connecting people to the bigger picture

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Senior leaders who are leading large teams and in charge of communicating strategy, visions & transformation messages will benefit most from this workshop. Since this two hour workshop will build on the masterclass from the previous day, having attended the masterclass would help connect to the hands-on work more easily.

The Elephant In The Room: Have We Operationalized Inclusion?

OVERVIEW:

Is Inclusion for PwD a CSR activity for your organization or a genuine understanding of their strength? Do you know the way to include PwD employees at work and in society in general? “BELIEVE” focuses on asking such hard questions on PwD inclusion at workplace, building operational mindset for the Manager, Teams and PwD employees, to bring about true Inclusion of PwD Employees. There is a dire need to shift your mindset around operationalizing inclusion and help build the shift from “Inclusion to Inclusive Working & Development”.

This workshop will ask a set of Hard Questions around mindset shifts from “CSR to true Inclusion”, around “unconsciously offering Grace Performance Standards”, around “Comfort Zones and Tick In the Box Inclusion”, and will challenge the approach to tiptoeing around the “Elephants In the Room”.

On the Other side, the questions from PwD employees are key: “Am I stuck in a Comfort Zone? Are sympathy and “expect less from me” evident expectations? Am I ready to be uncomfortable? Am I equipping my teams and leaders to be more inclusive?

The Workshop Leaders will leverage gamification to create Experiential Shifts in your ability to work better with Your PwD colleagues by changing the narrative.
