Man Mohan Bhagat

Founder & Chairman, Bhagat Global Group

Man Mohan Bhagat is an electrical and mechanical engineer from IIT Varanasi. After working with an international oil company for two decades, he incorporated the Bhagat Global Group of companies in the mid-1970s. Man Mohan Bhagat is the Founder and Board Member of many Indian and International Institutions and has led trade and investment delegations to several countries.

He has completed a course at Harvard. Just short of 92 years of age, he was perhaps the senior-most student in the entire Summer School of 2019. It is while at Harvard, that he conceptualised a new cognitive paradigm of sublimation to balance Industrialism and Environmentalism. Starting with computer software exports, he has expanded his expertise in numerous sectors and geographies over the years. He has developed short and long term strategies for several multinationals in a variety of sectors for marketing and investment and helped in their successful execution. He has been instrumental in bringing into India and helping to establish the operations of many Fortune 100 and 500 companies.

Residing in New Delhi, Mr Bhagat travels extensively; however, he manages to dedicate time to community and civic affairs. He believes in contributing to society in all aspects. He is actively interested and involved in matters of global concern. He is Chair of Earth Foundation NGO that works on issues like environment, education and saving and improving quality of life on Earth. While at Harvard, he also gave final touches to a project to stop global warming and climate change. He is developing a global Earthminimals Earthmatics campaign to reduce individual CO2 footprints, incorporating implementable and measurable steps to stop climate change.

Along with his daughter Geeti Bhagat, he is writing a book titled “Startup your own Multinational Corporation in 80 days”. The book is a practical guide to starting and scaling up global operations.
